Just a few things that I love about life...
1. I get to share this adventure of life with my very best friend. I love watching Kevin from a distance because the grace of God is overwhelmingly evident in his life. He has a great calling placed on his life and excels at everything he puts his mind to. I love his passion. I love how excited he gets when he gets a crazy idea. I love his desire to always make a memory and capture it on video. I love how he always publically affirms us and makes sure everyone knows that "Zack is a stud..." Kevin, if we weren't already married, I would have a gigantic crush on you...
2. I have the sweetest baby in the entire world who has taught me more about the uncomprehendable love of Jesus than any book or person ever could. Without knowing it, Zack has forever impacted the way that I view Jesus and his love for me. There is not a single day that goes by that I am not completely blown away by this amazing gift that I have been given in my son. Lord, please give me wisdom to cultivate and raise Zack into the mighty man of God that you have called him to be. Let every interaction be full of grace and bathed in you...
3. I have an amazing family that has blessed me every day since before I was born. I was loved and desperately wanted before my parents knew that they would be blessed with a baby. I feel honored that I had a birth mom that was selfless enough to give me away so that I could have a better life and so thankful that I was divinely placed with my family. I have wonderful parents who are amazing grandparents. I have a feeling that Zack will continue to be a bit spoiled by them for a long time to come...
4. I have fabulous friends. I am so lucky to have a group of people that lift me up, encourage me, and support me. Friends that I can laugh with, cry with, pray with, dance with, eat with, or do nothing at all...
5. I love my house. Even though I am constantly trying to fix and perfect her, I love that I get to live in a place that I can watch the sunrise over the water from my bedroom window...and let Zack ride his tricycle in the cul-de-sac...or try to play basketball in a hoop that is way to tall for him...
6. I love my job. I am actually sitting here right now looking at some sweet babies. Not only am I blessed to have a job, I have the job that I have desired since my brother was born when I was 3 years old. Until nursing school, I thought only volunteers got to do this job because it is so awesome...I get to witness miracles every single day and I LOVE it!
7. I am forgiven. I am loved. I was created for a purpose. Grace upon grace upon grace has been poured out over my life. Jesus is Lord. I am His. LIFE IS GOOD!
